Privacy Policy
Last updated 31 August 2026
This policy explains what this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers josephruiz.appomark.com only. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What is collected
Two things. First, anything you type into a form on this site: your name, email address, phone number, and the answers you give in the quote request. Second, ordinary technical information your browser sends to any website, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited.
The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter into them are never transmitted anywhere and are never seen by anyone.
Why it is collected
To respond to you. If you submit a form, the information is used to contact you about the mortgage enquiry you made, and to prepare an accurate answer. If you tick the consent box, it is also used to send you marketing calls and text messages, which you can stop at any time by replying STOP.
Consent to marketing contact is never a condition of doing business.
Who it is shared with
Your information is shared with Joseph Ruiz and, where necessary to process your loan, with The Lending Pros and the lenders, service providers and settlement agents involved in your transaction. It is not sold, and it is not shared with anyone for their own marketing.
It may be disclosed where the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet the record keeping obligations that apply to mortgage lending, which are set by law and are measured in years rather than months.
Your choices
You may ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where no legal obligation requires it to be kept. California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, the right to delete and the right to opt out of sale. This site does not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these, email [email protected] or call (818) 613-0504.
Security
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. No transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers or copies of documents through the contact form. When it is time for documents, you will be sent a secure route for them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
